I got married few days ago (may082019) My work permit expires jun 08 2019

is there any way to apply online PR application?
Do I have file extension also to maintain legal status in Canada
Do i have to open work along with PR application?
Do I need the PCC from India?



I have only 15 days to expire my LMIA based work permit


please direct me

You cannot apply online for PR. You should apply to extend your stay as a visitor while you get your PR app going. If you apply inland you can apply for the open work permit but it is not mandatory. There is no benefit to applying inland if you do not apply for the OWP alongside it. If you do not intend to apply for the OWP you are better off applying outland from inside Canada.

Yes, PCCs submitted upfront now.

If you submit your PR app and OWP app before your current status expires (which I doubt would be possible, very tight timeline) you would have implied status until a decision on the OWP is made. However is the OWP was returned for any reason you would be out of status. It is safest to apply to extend your stay as a visitor to ensure you don't lose status at any point.

When we did it we explained my husbands work permit was expiring, we were marrying within a matter of months and subsequently applying for PR. We were honest about our situation, and would advise that you do the same. Recently married on "x" date, current permit expiring on "x" date, applying for spousal PR. No need to elaborate, keep it short and concise.

Would also look if you can get urgent processing for your marriage certificate. Some provinces are experiencing huge delays (3months).
