Hello everyone,

I am wondering how normal people (without eidetic memory) should go about a number of questions as follows:

- have your spouse met any of your friends and relatives and when
- have you met any of your spouse's friends and relatives and when

The closest I can reconstruct is something like - it was a weekend and the snow was gone already.
What should we put for the dates?

And also - how many of the met friends and relative should we list - I mean there are a whole lot of people we met -
should we list all of them or just up to 10 (the most frequent contacts)

As always, any input is muchly appreciated.

We put the date. It was easy to figure as it was the day after a certain dated "plane ticket". I would only fill in how much the form accepts, so top ten or something like that is fine. We had much less to fill in than that.

Try to fill in as many as the form will allow. List top friends and close family members first. If you can't remember the exact date, the visa officer will understand. Just put the month or year, or attach a separate sheet explaining you couldn't remember the exact date for some of them, and tell them an approximate date. You can also use this separate sheet to list more people, but there is no need to list everyone - just the closest friends, and any family. You can add that you have met more, and will provide those details if the visa officer wants them.

I see,

Many thanks
I had met nearly every person in my wife's life by the time we applied. We filled out the paperwork showing mostly family and a few very close friends and she did the same for who she had met. I also wrote a letter explaining how we have met every important person in each other's lives. I did not go into detail about whom and when because that would be a novel. Since you have known each other for some time and have met each others' respective family and friends don't sweat it.

Thanks a lot I figured I don't have to know it down to the minute))

Same with us, we were able to name and date when we met each others parents and siblings. Then we attached a sheet explaining these meetings and that since our relationship started we have pretty much met each other entire families and that the accompanying pages of trips and photos will verify this.
