Hi Everyone,

I need your assistant.

I am the principal application and I have all my education document but my spouse does not have an impressive educational qualification. He is not a university graduate but finished his secondary school. Right now, he does not know where his secondary school certificate is. We have searched all through but cannot find it.

My question is as follows:

1. Is it going to be a hindrance when applying for Express Entry or provincial nominee program
2. What happens if am not able to present his secondary certificate when filling his form. Am I supposed to leave his section blank or state that he does not have.
3. Even with the fact that he is without a certificate, Do you need an ECA for secondary certificate.

He has an IELTS though but am concerned that not presenting at least his secondary school certificate which he is supposed to have will pose a problem for my application. He intends travelling with me if everything goes well.

I need a helpful response please. Thank you.

No it should be fine. Seems like the application will be based on your education/work history/IELTS/etc and not his.

Thanks for your response.

Yes, the application is basically my document since I am the principal application.

Disregard my other reply. Not complete.

Thanks for your response.

Yes, the application is basically my document since I am the principal application.

From your reply, it means I should proceed with the application without presenting my spouse qualification since he is not able to present one.
