spouse qualification assessment from WEC

Hi all,
I would like to take this opportunity to ask all you genius people out here whether education credential assessment for a spouse is required from WEC by IRCC to claim points under spouse educational qualification.Please share your knowledge on this.

ECA for your spouse is not mandatory but it will increase your points.

Hi Satinder,

When you include your spouse in your application, you receive less points under each head, which can be compensated by your wife's point. So, if you want to claim the points of your wife's education, you will have to get her WES report. Also, WES report wont guarantee that you will get points! As WES recognizes only qualifications from certain institutions. If the institution is not recognized by WES, they will not be able to establish the equivalency, and hence you may not get points for the educational qualification.
