Spouse PR application - outside Canada

Hi,
I submitted my wife’s application on 11th May, 2024. It’s been over 4 months, still waiting for AOR. Tried calling the IRCC, they said your application is open but officer hasn’t made any decision yet.
Any suggestions what should I do ?
should I cancel the application and redo the application ?

They said they are working on your application. I think you should wait another month, then call them again and tell them you are waiting for the AOR
