Spouse passport change after receiving ITA

Hi All,

I received ITA recently and as soon as i received it we started working to get the Police certificates.
I currently stay in US and we realized that for my spouse since his permanent address changed he won't be able to request for PCC without changing it.

So we submitted a request to San francisco consulate with the new Permanent address in India.
Now the issue is that he will be getting a new passport which will not match will the one i mentioned in my express entry profile.

How do i take care of this while submitting my application? Also his passport no. will not match in other places like IELTS?
What do i do about that.
Please suggest.
 
going through the same thing

applied for re-issue of passport, I think it's alright.

In my case it's happening for the primary applicant(me).

you can provide new passport number in the forms and explain it in LOE.

i think new passport shall have old passport number as well.

the same here. Got a new passport for the dependent, while IELTS and some PCCs are on the old passport #.
I am going to submit the scan of the old one together with the new one and explain it in LoE

I did the same but I also entered the new passport number in ID section of application, submitted both passports copies and LOE.....didn't cause any prob.

thanks for sharing! you mean you entered both passports info in ID section? I was thinking to add only the new one`s, the one that will be valid on the date of eApr
 
So you finally entered new passport number .. did it create any problem..
