Spouse Paper based PR Application

Hey, can anyone please guide me how much time it takes for cic to send Confirmation/Application of Receipt, we have submitted our application on August 10, but haven't heard anything from cic.. no email, no post... i am really worried.. please guide.. although cic has posted that they're processing paper based PR applications to the extent possible.. but people are saying, they are not processing because of covid-19..

This is normal. You won't hear anything for several months. People who submitted their applications in Feb/March/April are only hearing from IRCC now.

IRCC is processing these applications just at a slower pace.

processing at slower pace would be fine, i hope they don't let those applications un-processed.

I have heard the same. Some people I know said that files are processed within 6 to 8 months or even before this time.
