approval email received on Oct 18
passport dispatched on 21 and received on Oct 23 with visa stamping on it.

Very interesting there are people who are waiting for visa from last 3 to 4 months and till now they are waiting.

ur wife file has been handled by angel.

Could you please share the documents which u have submitted at the time of application of SOWP.

that would be very helpful and how much the funds u have shown and did u hire any lawyer for that.

Please share your experience.

Naveen is a Phd student...Its very expensive to study Phd (unless its govt funded)..You have already paid govt enough money and they will be obliged to give OWP-S to someone like him...

Also whenever he files for PR...he would again get first priority and should get it in NO time.

I dont think any documentation would have made his process faster!!

But hey none the less it was unbelievably quick

My wife submitted regular documents along with application. In addition to that, for supporting documents we submitted both of our bank statements and property documents and affidavit for the purpose of visit. For the first time, we applied visit visa for 6 months and they were not happy with documentation and purpose of visit and finally got rejected. This time, applied OWP for the duration of my visa validity and accepted.
Probably, they were more concern about honesty, because they know that a person would have strong tie with their spouse and VO expect that, applicant might not come back afar their visit, because strong tie is in Canada, not in India. It is good to mention your purpose of visit honestly.

i know that would be personal but if could guide me with the purpose of visit drafting and matter ..Did u clearly mention your intention for work or main was spouse matter.

Wht ever the reason was .......That was really quick !!! ... n congrats ...

I hav been into these posts n discussion n i see the time frame is difrnt from case to case .. someone getting visa in 17 days !! Now 4 days !! agencies sayin 20 days !!! Online application is said to be faster ,,, but paper application getting done 1st !!!!
