Spouse OWP rejected for odd reason

Hey guys,

So I applied for BOWP and Spouse OWP together. Today I get an update on my husband's application saying it is refused because "The maximum allowable employment under the Australia Working Holiday Program is 2 Years. "

My assumption is they processed my husband's permit before mine, and didn't realise I was applying for spouse OWP?

Luckily I have a second application in for both of us after we received AOR.

This seems weird, I am going to call CIC. I put Spouse OWP in the application.

Any thoughts?

UPDATE:

So they have updated his application from refused to open, just after mine was updated. I really hope that they realise his was attached to mine and are going to approve it!
Any thoughts?

I was right, they have approved it now! In the letter they said please disregard the refusal letter.

What do you mean by a 2nd application? Did you do an online application before the AoR and then a 2nd one after getting the AoR?
