Spouse OWP and divorce

I have applied for a study permit and was approved and will be expired on March 2022. Because of the pandemic, I have been studying online since October, 2020, outside Canada. Now I decide to go to Canada in October 2021. When I applied for my study permit, I applied for my then-husband's spouse open work permit and was approved and will be expired on March 2022 as well. Today for some reason we divorced. But we decided not to separate, because we just feel that we still love each other and cannot let go of each other, so, we want to continue to get along to see if our relationship is possible to recover.

Does anyone know if my ex-husband (can be seen as my boyfriend now ) could go with me together to Canada in October 2021?

Till the validity or his owp he can come no matter u r divorced or not but the real problm will start when he wants to extend his owp then he needs to find an employer who will sponser him bcoz then u can’t keep ur boyfriend/ex husband in canada unless u guys are still married officially and yet not filled for divorce.
