Spouse outland application - Question concerning processing time

Hello all!

I have a very basic question and I am sure it was already asked..unfortunately I could not find an answer to it after going through a lot of topics here.

Me and my husband (which is sponsoring me) send our CSQ application out to Quebec (Montreal) last week after getting our SA with the message that our application will be processed in Ottawa.

- Does anybody knows what the rough timelime for the receipt of the CSQ is?
- From a friend I heard that I will have to send a scanned in version of the CSQ to the visa office after receiving it but I also read that Quebec might forward it for you. Does anybody went through this and knows the answer?

In my case... Quebec sent my CSQ directly to CIC but it really took a long time. my CSQ was approved on Jan 11-2016, and i called CIC on Feb-10-2016. they said that the received my CSQ last week..

Ours took 5 weeks in total to receive. However, due to a typo on the CSQ, I sent it back, and got it corrected within a week's time. So if you fill out everything correctly it should take no more than 5 weeks. I forwarded a copy to my visa office upon receipt of the certificate. Although it is mentioned that midi does forward a copy to your VO, I still sent a copy via case specific enquiry just in case.

Hy i want to ask you a question:
I sent my application for cic for spousal sponsorship last week.
S it okay if my husband sign the certificat de selection form and send it for me from now even before getting the approoval?
This way i can send the package to midi once i get approved and save alot of yime because it needs 15 working days to arrive
