" We are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements"--this is my current status of OWP application. I have applied for spouse OWP on April, 2022 from Bangladesh. Can anyone tell me how much time it will to receive any final decisions from IRCC?

No one can tell you. Eligibility review can take weeks or months. Processing is about 32 weeks so you should have a response by December. Your spouse is in Canada - PGWP or study permit? When does it expire?

Ok. So if refused, it may be because permit expires in March, which is in less than six months. If approved, your permit expires in March so hopefully you have a plan when it expires. Change to visitor and stop working.

If you applied right after getting married and this is an arranged marriage with minimal in person relationship ship time that can also lead to denials. Approval/refusal always depends on the full application.

Hi there,

Me and my fiance have been dating 3 years and getting married February 2023. My PGWP expires June 2023 and our officiant is helping us get our marriage certificate expedited after the ceremony. It will be a small ceremony with only each of our parents. Would this be considered okay?
Reason for small ceremony is we are spending tickets plus hotel for my parents and also honeymoon November 2023 in Japan and saving for a downpayment.

Would it be a red flag to marry close to PGWP expiry and apply with expedited marriage certificate?
