Hi, i wanna know that after how many months from the marriage, we are eligible to apply for SOWP?
as i am on a work permit right now with NOC B job.

Hi. As soon as you have your marriage certificate it is okay to apply.

Initially we both applied together but it got rejected. Then I came to canada in jan 2020 and then my husband applied in march 2020. requirements as in?

Last update on 30 March cic asked my spouse new extend study permit so that doc I submitted on 11 may after that no update..

Does anyone know about what exactly CIC officer check about husband work? Do they call and ask if this person works at the company and that's it? or they ask the full info like which dates the vacation was given and how much he earns?

Hi friends !

Can anyone advice me what to do in my case ?

My SOWP got rejected second time on 14th May 2020.
The first time the reason was u/s205(c)(ii). No explanation.
The second time the reason is"R205(c)(ii): Eligibility for a work permit in this category only applies to the spouse or common-law partner of a study permit holder who is enrolled as a bona fide full-time student at an eligible DLI."

I feel visa officer has ignored all the basic documents completely. and it is unfairly rejected the file. All the documents were perfect and properly submitted by immigration lawyer.

Now can I go for appeal ? How can I Challenge the decision ? Please suggest some way.

You should apply with explanation letter contain information about DLI number and latest transcript, LOA and contract

Yes they can call and see where he is and if he is working there.
