Spouse Open Work Permit

Hi Alll,
Hope all are doing great and enjoying summer in Canada !!!!
My wife is currently working in Canada on Work Permit since 1 year. now i want to join her in Canada.
I heard we have SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit) which will allows to work temporarily in Canada.
Can I get this Visa in airport itself when i land in Canada(which I heard about , bot really sure how far it is true) !!
If not when can i raise this Visa , can some one share experiences on this

Hi Scylla,

I am marrying my fiance in September this year. He has a valid WP. What is the best approach for me to move to Canada after marriage? I want to join him asap after marriage and start working in Canada after few months. We are planning to stay in Canada for a couple of years. I have traveled to 3 countries in the past, one of them being US. What is the best route for me to accompany my fiance after marriage to Canada?
