My wife almost completed filling open work permit application from back home. In form IMM1295 do she need to mention regarding job letter from Canada. Can she write NA in that section. Details of intended work in canada seems very important point according to me. Is it fine if we write NA.

Being her husband i am forwarding her my Job letter(NOC B) from employer,My Work permit, Pay slips, Bank statement. Also we are adding parents supporting bank statement, marriage certificate, her university degree, IELTS score sheet and Medical report

Last question. we attached IMM1295 (open work permit main form), IMM5645 (family info), IMM5488 (checklist) along with the original passport. she didn't fill form IMM5257 (TRV form) would that be fine. really confused as some say you need to attach TRV form as well.

Hi i hv applied for an open work permit on 24th of dec on the basis of my husbands closed work permit. My husband is a chef n he belongs to the skilled worker category. The processing time depends on the visa office you applied...usually this is holiday time ..so might process it after january 2...which office did you applied

Hi joshy008 thanx for rplying...i hv applied from vfs mumbai & as per their website by visa application has been sent to the banglore visa office...how long does that take?

Like i said ..it depends...But usually banglore is faster for processing..I applied for my wife on september 15 i got approved in 3 days...And its just visa they are issuing and approval letter for work permit..your work permit will be issued only after you reach Canada..But its all depends on time my case she did not had to do medicals because she had already done medicals for our pr processing in june

Hey is it necessary to show his canadian bank statement as well?? We did nt submit any letter from from the employment as he has a.closed work permit so that itself has all the details. I submitted the following documents:-

Our marriage certificate
Our joint account bank statement with 6lakhs balance
His work pemit & visa
My LIC
His passport copy
My educational documents
Cover letter to the high commission

Are these many documents enough for my open work permit to get approved?

I dont think canadian bank account is necessary..but usually people submit a conformation letter from employer mentioning hours/position/wages etc..but dont worry you have enough documents to get approved..i

1 question
For my wife work permit application for supporting documents my bank statement would be enough. or We need her financial bank statement as well.
I am thinking of providing my parents bank statement. People suggesting as you are applying for ur wife your statement and your wife statement would be a good choice.

As we got married last year my wife doesn't have enough in her account.

Usually you need yourself and your wife,s statement ..You have to show some funds depends on the country where your wife lives ..you can deposit that amount in bank as a fixed deposit for certain months and bank will issue a statement for her..stating that so and so has this amount in her account which is equal to this much canadian dollar as per the date ..we got married in jan 2014 and i applied in sept 2014 i still showed 5 lack indian rupee in her account

the problem is we are about to apply this week and she has around 1 lakh in her account. we also attached my supporting bank statement. Now in order to make 5,6 lakhs we have to wait 3,4 months more. In such case whats your views what should we do.

If you are applying this week ..did you attach any other financial documents related to your spouse..for example property,lic,job detals-pay cheques,,anything
