For UAE maximum processing time is 33 weeks right now,earlier it was 30 weeks .
Whereas for India it is 7 weeks these days

will this processing time count only for work permit or for open work permit too. becuase according to some, " work permit extension " counts for owp.
and in my case i m waiting from 23 weeks for owp and still did not heard anything.

Work permit Extension and OWO both are different and deadlines for both is different too

How do you know>??? It never says anywhere that it goes in WP Extension category ???

Yeah thats my bad - Inland SWOP goes under Work Permit Extension.

OH.. just the inland??? Ive applied from Pakistan and my Husband is in Canada. i hope this wouldnt go under WP extension category.

Yes dear it will take atleast 4 months.. you need to wait patiently, I'm in the same boat.. applied on 25th of june ,& after biometric not even a signal update biometric and it still shows that "we are reviewing your application and will send you a message once final decision has been made"
