Hey , its a good sign . keep praying , given your file has been opened after reconsideration and they sent you the medical request , they are checking your eligibility which means your file is going forward(however chances of getting SOWP are usually 50-50 because they scrutinze the SOWP application a little harder than other work visas ) you have a high chance of approval right now , good luck

Medical Approved 23rd Aug
Application approved on 30th Aug
Got the Visa approved in Just 3 weeks with proper filing and documentation.

Hi Guys, I'm planning to apply for SOWP for my wife. She received a job offer letter from an employer in London, United Kingdom as a staff nurse. I'm wondering if I should include the offer letter as one of the proofs that she will be leaving Canada after or during the duration of her SOWP. Will that make our case stronger? Please help.

It won’t affect your application ,be cautious whatever you will file should be accurate and right . Sometimes excess number of documents also become the reason of rejection .

Yes and make sure you should consult someone instead of putting it all together,sometime we skip a single things and it goes negative

Biometric Request: 30th August
Background Check Started: 30th August
Biometric Done: 3rd September
Biometric Updated: 3rd September
Medical Approved: 11th September
Eligibility Review Started: 11th September
Biometric Correspondence Letter: 12th September
Wife Visa Approved: 12th September & PPR Request
Children (Both) Visa Status: 12th September Medical Request Received.

Unfortunately, I did not do medical for my children as I was not aware medical is mandatory requirement for kids as well. I hope my child visa will be approved after submission of medical result.

Hello everyone,

applied for open work permit from canada by my wife.
application received 18 may 2019.
biometric submission done on 02nd june in abu dhabi vfs global. (becoze i m working in abu dhabi.)

But now for some reason I have to go to my country India and in between if i got medical request or passport request then can i do medical or get my visa in india vfs global.

please help.
