Hi I got a query. I have applied offline sowp application. Got the medical request. Done the medical. My question do I need to inform Canadian embassy or hospital will inform?

My wife had given upfront medical and its been passed. Also she got biometrics request next day she applied and that is also passed. Is it a POSITIVE SIGN for her application.

Yes it's always better to apply from the country of your residence.
I applied from India for an open work permit and got it within a week. It's too fast provided your documents are suffice and your medicals were done.
My timelines for your reference:
Applied on 9th May 2019
Got request for passport on 13th May 2019 and a submitted my passport the same day
Received passport on 17th May 2019

Yes you are correct , within canada its 93-95 days. mine 90 days are completed today
