Spouse Open Work permit

I applied for closed work permit for myself and open work permit for spouse on 30th Nov. I received passport submission request in 15th January, but no uodste for sowp yet . I called CIC helpline they said we can see application is approved but we don't know why passport submission request didn't went out yet. CPC office didn't reply to the query. Any ideas on what can be done ?
Hi you, I would like to ask which number of CIC that you called. I am waitting for my result and have no idea when it will done.

Hello, my spouse's SOWP application changed Background check status from 'we are reviewing' to 'Not applicable'. Can somebody decipher what that means? The application has been submitted on Sep 13, 2018, and been delayed.
My husbands SOWP got refused with reason "You have been unable to adequately demonstrate that you meet the requirements of a spousal open work permit under section 205(c)(ii) of the Regulations." Can anyone suggest what to do next ?

Applied online on December 8th. Submitted the application myself
Did upfront Medical
Status changed to "Approved" today

Same situation here!!!! So how many days were ur process in total! I applied in January, 14th and they say 7 weeks. But it already made 8 weeks and nothing.
