I have nominated under provincial nominee semi skilled worker program and my pr file is under process and I got recently married and updated my wife information. I want to know my wife is not on a pnp nomination certificated as a dependent can I apply for her open work permit as he is on my pr application.

1. You have to scan all the visa pages along with stamps. it is highly mandatory to scan them because they would come to know how many countries you have been to.
2. i showed 10,000 dollars in my account to support my spouse and myself, which means have sufficient funds to survive in Canada if my spouse doesn't get job.
3 As i mentioned above you need to scan all the visa and stamps page, and if you are applying work-permit for yourself or somebody else they would need Police clearance from all the countries where you have worked.
4 PAN card id not necessary if you spouse does the Income tax return then it is applicable and you have to show your income tax returns. otherwise it is optional.
5.the applicant bank balance must be 5lakhs approx. as i showed ( near about 10,000) .
6 20 to 25 pictures are enough to qualify the proof of relationship.
thats what i did, sometimes it varies from one applicant to another.

Good luck!!

Dear Ravi,
Thank you so much for the reply & Congratulations about your application. God bless you both.
Ravi as you said you are the sponsor from Canada and you showed CAD 10,000/- in your bank a/c.
your wife, she is the applicant from India, and she also showed 5 Lakhs in Indian Bank A/C (5 Lakhs = CAD 10,000/-)
So total you both showed CAD 20,000/- in Canada & India, am i right about it?

Also if you applied through an agent or lawyer, then shall I get their contact details ?

Waiting for your kind reply.
Thanks & Best Regards

Hi there,
I am a PhD student and my wife has visitor record. We want to change her status to open work permit. While filling the form IMM5710E, it is asked to provide details of prospective employer. But she doesn't have any offer.
My questions are:
1) Do we have to get an offer? if not, what should we write to fill the form?
2) In the form, they asked two times for address under details of intended work in Canada.
Complete address of Employer (Canadian or Foreign)
and
Intended location of employment in Canada
What is the difference?

Thanks

If you are applying through paper then write N/A or not applicable. Or through online . Just leave it if your applying for open work permit. Because you dont need a employers for open work permit.
