Unable to link my open work permit application which I applied separately after my PR application on paper.
Couldnt link it with the UCI or name and date of birth details.
Is it that they have not yet picked my application . Any idea what is the time frame on each process to happen

I want to ask i have submitted my deposit fees1000$ as i m applying for student visa but my semester fees is due before my class start in april ,my college did not ask me to submit any fees now untill i will get my visa ,what should i do?? Is there any problem ?? Should i still submit my fees ?

I am also facing the same issue for my open work permit application.

Select
First name and family name option, it will work in most of the cases. I was having same issue.

Below are my timelines:

1st Attempt:
We applied for Study permit(myself) and SOWP on May13th 2016 initially from vfs delhi.
Study permit got approved but SOWP got refused on 22nd July 2016.

2nd Attempt:

We applied again for my spouse - SOWP on 19th Aug 2016 , paper based application from Vfs delhi with upfront medicals:

Application Date : 19th Aug 2016
Application Location : Vfs Delhi
Spouse location : India
Medical : Upfront ( Passed) - 22nd Aug
Result : 4th Oct 2016

Though we have not received any email yet from cic but the portal this time says "Approved" and case is closed.

Thanks a lot everyone for posting useful information all this while, especially Fkl.

My only suggestion to everyone would be don't rely completely on ur lawyers and consultants so much.

I did that mistake first time and got rejected. But during our 2nd attempt we filled the visa on our own and it got thru

Its true about consultants i have tried earlier but for my Usa visa and other visas i did it on my own ,now will apply for my student visa ,lets see ;D and congrats

How long did you wait after applying for linking the paper application to online account? I havent got any mail from CIC confirming that they have recieved my application..Just a mail from VFS Global that my paper application has been forwarded to the Bangalore Consulate for processing.
FYI I applied on 3rd oct Paper Based from VFS Ahemdabad with upfront medicals.
