Spouse Open Work permit

After a long wait of 8 months finally got my spouse work permit approved

Application online: December 25, 2015
CSE to New Delhi: February 2016
got reply in March that file is being processed at Abu Dhabi as my spouse is currently there
Blank Updates every month
3 CSE to Abu Dhabi but no reply.
Finally got reply on July 26 that the application has been finalized
Passport request: July 27. 2016 (Submitted on same day)
Approval Letter : August 2, 2016
Waiting for passport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone,

I applied for my wife's SOWP (Paper Application) in Chandigarh on June 28th, 2016. No update yet, tried linking the file with myCIC but it doesn't show up in the search results yet.

Is there anyone else here who applied in June/July 2016 at Chandigarh?

I applied online for SOWP on 9th june 2016 from Hungary and it says 5 weeks processing time, but its now almost 8 weeks and i have received no update, sent a CSE and no update there too, called the dial in number and it says there are too many applications so does not pass onto the agent, it just mentions processing applications earlier than 18th june 2016. anyone else around the same time and online applicant around who might have got a response?

hi guys i got refuse for a dumb reason that evidence of educational enrolment is not given. and personal ssets.
will apply for reconsideration.

Sorry to hear that Yadav... How much is the processing time for reconsideration ? When i got rejection MP suggested to re-apply instead for reconsideration even consultant said to re-apply..

my lawyer said apply for reconsideration cos they refuse saying education enrolment evident not given. which was clearly given with permit, college LOA and visa as well.
