Nope, no update ever since I have applied.
Probably because my wife went through her medicals last Aug when we submitted for SOWP for the first time when I was on my study permit. Hoping to get passed coz medicals are valid until 1 year.

HI,
Am applying for my wife dependent visa. Am in work permit in Canada and we got married a few days back and we have our marriage certificate in French. Should i need to translate the marriage certificate to English , if so is there any format. Kindly help.

just started following the forum.
I tried visitor visa (online application),it got refused.
Right now I applied Spouse open work permit (Paper application) without medicals on June 29 VFS office in chennai ,Now the file is in BANGALORE and its been processed.
Just want to know how long it will take to get the medical request and also heard from my friends that "bangalore consultate are doing faster ".

My spouse is studying as international student in Canada and I want to go there on spouse open work permit, could you please answer my below queries :
1. "show that you have enough money to take care of yourself and your family members during your stay in Canada and to return home" is given on the CIC websit but they have not mention the minimum amount of money which I need to show?
2. But on the Guide 5487 there is nothing mention like funds or money or account number, how would they check. how much old bank statement need to show here?
3. Is there any additional factors I need add to enhance my chances to get SPOW ?

We got refusal first time within time limit they mentioned.... but now no updates yet man.. not even for med req.

has any1 actually got any kind of proper reply after making a cse? cos waiting for 10 business days means we r going to expect something to happen by end of this month only. how rubbish is the system from 2 months to 3 months... better they will stamp wen wifes visa will expire.
I think may be something wrong in the delhi high commission thatswhy they are taking time .because from s long time I have not heard any information or any updates.
