Last february 22, I applied for my wife SOWP online and last month I ordered GCMS notes but I have some questions regarding the notes under information sharing the notes mention several other names which some how matches my wife's name of DOB what does that mean please help?

I also noticed in criminility it showes passed-bio

Unfortunately i am having doubts whether i should submit my school records because i was lacking units in college and i believe its very unsightful to provide this kind of supporting documents. i hope someone could give me advice on this. thanks

@alijumani I am not sure i understand your situation. Your PR for CEC is already in process right? and you applied for SOWP as well recently. There is no concept of GCMS notes in case of SOWP until it has already concluded (refused). However, my knowledge of those in case of PR app is limited though i know it is a routine to order and monitor your status. No idea about why it shows up that way. Probably any thing there needs to be asked on CEC forum instead.

Work permits might get notes at not many stages. That is my general impression.

It depends upon your over all profile. What is your highest qualification? As long as you have a degree for the profile you are claiming for, you are good.

E.g. if you are applying for a SOWP, you don't really need any thing. Because you can only have a high school qualification and might intend to work at say a beauty parlor. CIC doesn't make any judgement in this case and therefore school credentials are not important.

However, if you are claiming to have a MBA with past work experience, i believe CIC would expect it to be there.

Lastly, if you are the principal temp work permit applicant, you surely need that.

For instance for an IT professional applying for NOC A, a bachelor's university degree is a requirement which one has to be submitted along. But note that i am NOT talking about SOWP here.

Thanks for the input. SOWP file treats seprately I believe, I applied notes only for SOWP also included her consent form with the request and I only got the notes related to SOWP.

The only reason I think for different people name mentioned it that all the similar person name or date of birth some how matches with my wife's details

I request another notes which i am expecting to arrive with in 3 weeks from now

Don't really know how would that work in general though i believe there shouldn't be a problem if you submit newer documents as an update to your husband's file. At max it would add some delay. Though i am curious, if you accept the new job today, it would take you a month may be to join at the new place? shouldn't you expect CIC might be through processing his application till then. Else once you have actually moved, you can email new information on his file.

If you applied paper based than you'll not going to get any email from CIC.

Keep your fingers crossed hopefully your wife will get her passport stamped good luck

Thanks for the info bro but my friend applied the same paper based in hyd and got email from CIC stating it was approved.

It depends. I would suggest not to worry. What happened earlier was CIC used to send approval email and then it took 3-4 days for Fedex to receive passports. People got impatient during that time and kept emailing CIC. So they changed policy and started sending passports BEFORE the approval emails.

In my case last year from Karachi (before Fedex officially turned into VFS), i applied on paper, got notified of passport dispatched first, and received approval emails after collecting passports. In fact i had 3 of them (work permit, SOWP and open study permit for son). I received emails for my spouse first, mine and son's came a day latter.

Thanks for the info as you know today is friday may be we receive the passport on monday i guess. my wife is very tensed.
on my wife's friend didnt get any email but visa stamped.
hopefully by gods grace the passport should have the visa.
