hi all, i am new to this forum..
please read my sad story.....

i got married in aug 30th 2013.my husband is in canada and now i am in india. my husband applied for spousal work permit on feb 17th 2014. but my application has been refused on march 27th 2014. now my current status in the cic account shows that process closed and has been refused. but my agent was informed that, the will send a letter regarding the reason(s). but it has become 10 days.till this date i haven't received any letter or email. no any way to know the reason.when will i get the letter?whether it is regular mail or via courier?
we are planning to reapply.
is there any chance for fetting the work permit. whether the first refusal will adversly affect the second application.

if anyone faced the same situation please reply me.........i am so disapponited.....please help me..........please

You need to make some serious corrections in your understanding of the process.

For one "your husband cannot apply for your SOWP in Canada". You are based in India, so you would apply there by yourself for SOWP while attaching your husband's documents along (his study / work permit, job / financial details etc.). You would surely be rejected if an application is put in this way INSIDE Canada.

Secondly, whether you apply online or via paper, it will still be processed by CIC in India so except a few things like online might be a faster by say a week, not having to submit originals etc. would be the only advantages.

A couple weeks ago, i heard from some indians that there were some fruad cases in india for applicants submitting fake documents. So CIC india has started asking for originals even for online applicants to verify (earlier you only submitted scanned copies of all docs, and send original passport when you receive passport request).

Seems like that is no longer the case. So its better if you apply on paper in India.

we applied as outside canada via online
submitted docs of my husband details as supporting ones....
some advised me to reapply without waiting for the letter regarding the reason.....coz it may take a long time
if we are trying to reapply, whether our applctn will be filed as a new one or as the continuation of the older one

I am not sure what you mean by 'continuation'. Each application is treated separately, but they do have previous records, so when evaluating - the visa officer would see that it was refused earlier plus the reasons of refusal. So if your circumstances have not changed significantly or the cause of refusal has not been addressed, you would be refused again.

If you are referring to GCMS notes for getting the reasons of refusal, for some one in Canada (your spouse) it at max takes a month to get those. Don't know if that sounds too long for you or not.

it has already been 15 days dat we got refused...unfortunately only after joining this forum we came to know about gcms....
so if we are ordering gcms these days, it will take another 1 month...so what we will do.....is it better for us to wait another 1 month
my husband got disappointed with this refusal very much and he is planning to reapply these days with some strong docs eventhough we dont know the reason(s)......what is ur suggestion

Wait for the reason and then reapply. Unless you are very sure you know the reasons for refusal.

Also i am still not clear when you say "your husband applied". It is you who needs to apply - at the embassy in India (whether on paper or online, it translates into the same thing. You will be the principal applicant SHOWING with proof that you are spouse of either a worker in NOC 0,A or B or a university student in some full time program. Also if your husband is on a work permit, you need to attach docs properly showing details of his job, responsibilities, NOC, earnings etc. Hope you are clear about that.
