i think first the employer must get LIMA and once that is secured it has to attached for the work permit application.

u can apply for ur owp along the work permit. but preferably let him secure his visa and once he has then u can attach a copy of his and apply also.

ur child will need a trv as any other person. for that u have to add both parents documents showing permit of father and mother. if u can wait then sounds like a better idea to secure a Mexican passport as rules are more smooth for them than others.

i understand how u feel. just follow instructions most of the info is already there on the forum or google it.

No matter where you are, apply WP and TRV for your kid at the same time when ur husband applies for his LMIA based work permit. All 3 will be approved as LMIA has more power than regular VISA's or WPermits....

I applied for sowp on Dec 20th without medicals
Husband is in Canada under pgwp ,he updated his express entry profile after marriage that he is married and accompanying his wife ..Now we got ita .
My sowp application status is open no update ..
Does my sowp gets rejected because of PR ITA ...Because PR will take 6 months and I can't wait to meet my husband .
I am worried please suggest the best way

We didn't submit our PR application yet. We still have 70days time undergoing medicals and Police clearance .

So I think they issue a sowp before a PR ..
I have 1 more question
As I didn't submit an upfront medicals...
Now I am submitting medicals for my PR is this is considered for my sowp too
Do they ask for medicals separately?

I hope everything went well. I manage to get dependent visa in hong kong and singapore before and all successful now im going to try for dependent again with our baby i hope it will be a success again. It just that canada dependent is quite different

as long as u mention in your cover letter your applying pr soon and show the nomination or whatever sort u have for pr, it shld b alright.

since they r 2 different applications u must submit for sowp also. if u haven't given upfront they will ask for it. I believe there r few medical centers and doctors that are registered with cic.

but the same medical can b used but submit medical paper for sowp and pr both separately with u file.

Initially I submitted only the required documents
Then again I came to know that to make application stronger we need to submit few additional supporting documents.
So I submitted all documents in a PDF file through CSE and I got a mail from cici stating "this is to confirm the reception of your documents"
That means all the documents attached to my file right?
Does this will cause any issue?

In my case, my spouse didn't receive MR for SOWP cuz we already did medicals for our PR. They are people here in the forum who has been still waiting after medicals as you know Chandigarh office is super slow. PPR shoudn't take more than 2-3 weeks though.

Hi again actually i wanted to ask you something like everything set now but i was wondering which way is best and what time is good

is it best to take my owpermit in toronto or vancouver and im a bit afraid that they call the place where my husband was working so is it good
i arrive in toronto at 5 am so they wont call at his previous workplace
