Spouse open-work permit question!

Hi guys,

My fiance and I are both in Canada. I'm studying in university with study permit and she is working with open-work permit(working holiday visa).

However, her permit will be expired at the end of this year, so we're trying to renew(?), extend(?) her open-work permit.

We are going back to our country just for getting married and a certificate for marriage, so marriage status won't be a problem for applying for spouse work permit.

My question is that how she applies for spouse open-work permit? Do I need to inform CIC about our marriage?

Or, does she just need to apply for spouse open-work permit by herself? If so, how?

Also, how long does it usually take to get spouse open-work permit?

Do not Go Back. Get married in Canada get a certificate, get her visa renewed from within Canada.. much easier and faster

I know that, but if we get married here, it will take usually 2 months to get a certificate and its process is annoying.

We are in hurry... Back in my country, it only needs 1 day to get a certificate...
