Below is my Timeline for SOWP. I applied through a representative. Processed at New Delhi, India.

Applied online - 4th May 2017
Application No. received - 5th May 2017
Medical Request - 5th June 2017
Medical Done - 6th June 2017
Medical Passed - 13th June 2017
Passport Req - 16th June 2017
Passport Submission - 19th June 2017
Passport Reached Canada Visa Office - 20th June 2017
Online account updated as "Approved" - 21st June 2017
Passport dispatched- 21st June 2017
Stamped Passport received - 22nd June 2017

Hi. on April 6 i applied for spouse open work permit for my wife. I received email for interview. Just wanted to know is it normal or something went wrong?

Hi I also got an interview as I had apply for my husband open work permit on May 11. Please advice me what were the questions and did you get the visa?

i have got sowp for my wife within 1 month time and i havent shown up any balance or fund.

14 th june submission
6 th july medical request
8th july medical done
13 th july passport request
19 th got back passport with stamp

i havent shown any funds or any properties its all depends its all depend on your case.

Normal questions:
how many people were in the marriage? how old is your relationship?
He saw our pics for like 15-20 mins and he did not check any other documents like call details, messages. He just saw the pictures twice for 10-10 mins.

Don't worry it takes time and if you get any interview call don't panic. I think that's good if you get it and after the interview thinks moves fast and every week you will get an update.

Hi, I am applying for my wife's OWP, I am doing a skilled Job and on PGD work permit, her TRV was rejected last year, now I need Guidance to write the Explanation letters as its crucial, Can anybody help me with sample letters or the main things I should write in my letters, Will be grateful for the advice, Thanks

Hi Jisanmahfuz,
I am not sure about the letter however, give them solid proof of your relationship which could include your pictures, way on communication (call details, chat, email details) as much as possible. They just want to see if your relationship is genuine or not.
