FKL, GreenHak and other members,

We applied for SOWP and got a refusal yesterday stating lack of authenticity of documents. The documents were processed in India by the attorney in Canada. I am confused how to go from here. Please educate me regarding this..

1.) Can we send them the documents they are requesting fr again and reapply?
2.) Would it take the same time for process ie., 2 months?
3.) Do we have to follow the process again? Medicals and everything again?

Hey guys. Need your advise. I got accepted to 3 colleges in Ontario for Sept 2016 and have since selected one. I am married with 2 boys and wish to take them with me. I know I've seen this question a lot but I have not seen a complete answer. My gut is telling me apply as a family as I don't want to leave my young kids behind. My husband has had a Canadian visa and has been there quite a few times. He also has a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins there. He owns an e-commerce business that is registered in our home country (Jamaica) but can run it from anywhere in the world. We also have profiles under the Express Entry. Should I go ahead and apply as a family or would I still stand a better chance going for my student visa first? My biggest fear is that I'll get my visa and they'll be denied.

Please help ???

No I haven't got medicals. Have you got medicals. No updates at all. I have applied on March 17 through lawyer from calgary. Did you get any emails from CIC?

My husband is currently working in Canada and the company applied the SOWP from an attorney in Canada last 13 April 2016, however I am a currently a worker in UAE.

I dont know where they applied my application , so which timeline should I be following, UAE or Canada?

My spouse (wife) might get transferred to Canada as her company has applied for a work permit for her as she is a resource with knowledge and work exp on proprietary tools. We also have started our PR process a few months ago without knowing that she might get transferred. I am the primary applicant for the PR and I would apply for an open work permit when her transfer is confirmed.

As we have applied for a PR, will I still need an LMI to gain those 600 extra points for my PR?

Yours case is same as mine. we applied in dec 2015 online. As my spouse is indian nd on the application form we mentioned country applying from as INDIA. After 2 months i sent case specific enquiry and got to know that file is being processed in Abu dhabi , Uae as my spouse is currently working there

Applied online : october 2015, refused in September 2015
Re-applied : December 2015, refused in Feb 2015
Visitor visa filed in March 2016(filed against my wish Sad : refused in 3 weeks

With a frustrated but a bit more researched mind: Applied paper based application using an attorney at VFS Delhi on 19th april

Medical Requested : 5th May
medical Done : 7th may
Approval : 27th may

Letter of introduction received by my attorney (representative) on 27th may.

glad to know your application is processed as well in Abu Dhabi. is there a thread specific where we can see the timeline of all abu dhabi applicants.

Did anyone get any updates who applied through vfs India (paper based application). Please let me know. I applied on 18th march through VFS New Delhi. No updates yet.
