Spouse open work permit from Abu Dhabi getting delay

Hello all..my wife is studying in Canada. I am working here in Abu Dhabi. I applied for my spouse open work permit on April 18 2019 from Abu Dhabi.. Biometrics done by April 24. After that there is no updation about my application till now. If anybody know the reason behind this, plzz plz help us..

Spousal work permits take time, sometimes passing the normal processing time.
Also SOWP aren't guaranteed.

How much time it will take?? When we applied the processing time was 22 weeks..but yesterday they updated processing time as 39 weeks. My wife's study permit will expire on 2020 July 30. I heard that when they process the application the spouse should have a minimum of 6 months for their study permit. So we are very tensed about that.

Hi, My cousin submitted his online Opon Spousal Work Permit outside Canada Oct 2, 2019 He did his biometrics November 1, 2019. His biometrics information has not been updated in his ircc online portal till now and have not heard any thing now.
Do you have your biometric information updated in your online portal?

Yes..my Biometrics updated by April 23 in the online portal
