Please stop yelling at me. Many people are unaware that an SOWP is not guaranteed when a spouse has a student visa because it says you can apply. Many spouses are refused and can't figure out why. I am providing information not negativity.
This is true. When I was still an international student, I applied my husband and he got rejected 4 times, twice as tourist and twice as open work permit. We submitted EVERYTHING including increasing our assets but we still did not get any luck. So we decided not to pursue that time and just finish my studies. Now that I am a pgwp holder and working under NOC B we are hoping we could get lucky. If not, then we will just wait for my pr application next year.
I am not spreading negativity or how you may call it, just stating the facts that most of the people doesnt know. This is the link from cic website telling that trv refusals are one the rise right now..

The common law partner of my friend who is still studying just got the open work permit and I also know someone who got refusals for her husband and daugther. I mean Im not saying everyone will be refused, its just that there is a slim chance of getting owp nowadays. But we never know we might ALL get it this time. Just keep on praying folks.
I still hope that IRCC will be more considerate to us and sees that we just want to achieve our canadian dream with our loved ones right?
