Spouse open work permit for March 2018

Hello All! I have been following this thread and find it really helpful. Im hoping that all our spouses will be granted the sowp. Anyways my husband applied for sowp last May 31, and since most of you applied in March yet still waiting, I guess ours will be a lot longer.
I have a question tho, if my husband changes his country of residence, like move from one country to another while on the verge of processing his application, do we have to notify the cic? Cause I know each country has different processing times right? Will this affect his chances of getting refusal? He applied his sowp online.

4 months is average processing time so you are still in the normal processing period. These offices process tons of applications and SOWP are not high priority. Student permits on average have faster processing times because international students are important for the Canadian education system and there is a firm deadline. Getting an SOWP when your spouse is a student is a privilege that not everyone gets granted and in many countries spouses are not granted permission to work while their spouse works/studies. Just be patient and remember posted times are estimates not guarantees. Best of luck!
I believe he has to update his information, using the online tool. There are some specific documents required for some countries and they need to be updated if any change happens along the course of your application.

I applied inland, being sponsored by my spouse. They received my application on March, 8th and email confirming it on April, 6th.
After that I got no updates.
However, today I received great news that my OWP has been approved.

Thank u i had go through specific case enquiry about my previous medical. After a week cic updated my account and i passed the medical. Now how much time does it take after passing the medical. I passed the medical on 20th june2018
It should take 2 weeks, but due to long weekend and government holidays it mite take 3 weeks.
