I applied on 26 March online...upfront medical ... medical passed around 9 May...then no update ... waiting for PPR.

Applied online on 25th March with upfront medical. Medical passed on 30th April after that no update...

I have applied for OWP for my wife from Canada online on 30 April. The application is still in processing. Is anybody know how much time it will take. I applied without medical upfront and where is this file processing.

I applied for my sowp on same date. Still its reviewing.
Some people I know got in 2 and half months in the recent time.

2 and half months means 10 week. Thats the time shows on CIC website too. its 8 week now for our aplication and maybe in upcoming week we'll be informed by CIC

Can you please check and share your Background Check status. Mine Background check is Not Applicable right now.

In normal process.
BG Not Applicable ------> In Progress
BG In progress ------> No needed/Not Applicable
BG Not Applicable ------> In progress. This will stay like this untill you get your PPR. And II get PPR in 2-4 days.

So please check it frequently. it will change any time to "In process" for around 2 days and turn into "Not applicable" again.
