I want to know Abt SOWP for Canada.
Is this program still open??
People get visa ?

Hi, I am new to this forum...My wife is a international student in Toronto....I wanted to apply for SOWP....Is there anybody who can help with the procedure to apply for SOWP online...I don't want to involve any agents or lawyers for my application... I have logged in with GC key...But they ask for only few documents like IMM1295, Passport, photo, medicals, relationship proof, IMM5257 and client information.... what about the other documents like LOA, fee receipt, bank statements, pcc etc ...where do I have upload these documents....Please let me know ....Thanks in advance

If you are applying online then uploading all the documents they ask will be considered as a complete application. You only need to upload what they are asking if you are doing it online.

Consultant won't do anything for you. He will file the same form as you have to. There has been a lot of fake marriages done and using this permit as an easy way to work and get PR.

They will not 100% guarantee you a visa but the only other choice is visitor visa.

until i was claried by a member on this site i was confusing 2 different owp visas. i understand there are 2
1)a pr/cc sponsors a spouse inland..there is a trial program where the person can get OWP while they wait on application approval
2)a international student can get a owp for their spouse.but because of fake marriages to get PR as students its very hard now

@selvakk...As per the online application they ask for a very few documents....not even my wife's college documents like study permit, work permit etc...
