Spouse open work permit delayed

My ICT work permit (LMIA exemption) under GSS category was submitted by my company lawyers. Along with my application, my spouse application was also submitted.

I now have received the letter of introduction (TRV received and visa stamping completed). Can anyone help me understand how much time will it take to get my Spouse's PPR. I was told my company lawyers that the Spouse application is approved

Biometric submitted for application : 18 July 2022
Medical (upfront) : 2 June 2022
PPR received: 25 August 2022
Stamped Visa received: 7 September 2022
Letter of introduction received : 6 September 2022

I doubt anyone here can answer that question. The applications are processed separately and it can take longer to get the SOWP approved.

In general there is a huge backlog for OWP. Your spouse may get preferential processing due to your GSS but if not it could be over 6 months. Do they have a TRV?

The immigration lawyers mentioned they have submitted two webforms to check the status, but haven't got any response. They said the visa is approved but they haven't received the invitation letter for my Spouse application.

Yes it includes a TRV.

Yes it includes a TRV.

If they know it has been approved you should get PPR relatively soon. It often takes over a month to get a written response from IRCC due to the volume of emails.
