Spouse Open Work Permit December 2015

Hi .. im from pakistan .. i applied online on 29 november 2015 .. but still no updates .. i applied on spouse open work permit... plzz guide me what to do after processing time has been crossed .. i want to apply now for visitor visa. Should i apply it now or w8 till the end of given time for spow. 1 thing my husband didnt submit any further doc. Only my pic and letter of explaination ..

Did you submit a copy of your husband's work permit and payslips? Or any proof of his current job in Canada? I do not advice you to apply for visitor visa if there is no decision for your SOWP yet. IRCC may question your intention if you apply for both at the same time. You may be able to call them or send them CSE regarding your ongoing SOWP application.
 
My husband is a full time student in Montreal .. he's on student visa .. ok what can i do so they atleast look forward to my application .. i applied on 28 nov. 2015.. when did the process time change from 6 month to 10 month ... tell me if u knw thank u

My husband is on student vissa.. since august 2014.. he's a full time student in Montreal .. can u tell me when i applied on 28 nov. 2015 the processing time was 6 month or 10 months.. thank u
 
One of my friend applied in Nov 2015 but he was on work permit. He was lucky to have it in JAn 16
He told me that it was 6 months and may be it got change in Jan
 
I see a number of PGWP applicants being approved from week of January 14.

Most persons take 2 month and 1 week.

I got a blank update, not really sure what it means .

It says to check my account for update and nothing .

I sent an email and they responded saying I should click the link for an update.
 
Guys I saw approval in my CIC portal but no email so far. I am very happy, I can finally go back to Jamaica to close out some business.

Guys be very patient your time will come.

Letter of Explanation: I included a letter that I got from my company that says I was on 2 weeks vacation and explained that I miss my family and wanted to stay with them. Man I really did miss my family. Guys just be honest and I think it will work out. That is what I did.
