Spouse on Work permit

I am sorry if this is a repeat of anyone else's topic, but there are so many topics on this forum that I got a little lost, I hope someone can help me...

We have someone out of the Ukraine that works on our farm on a work-permit, my simple question is, how can we help him to get his wife and children here? She has applied for an open work permit but it got refused... If she comes here 'just' to be with her husband, would she even need a work permit? She does not intend to work here at all...

When we moved here 10 years ago out of Holland, only my husband needed a work permit, me and my son were here on a visitor's permit for 3 years...

Any help would be appreciated!!

What is the validity of his work permit. She could possible come as a visitor but she would have to prove strong ties to her home country.The ability to for dependents to come on extended visitor visas is dependent on the work permit of the principal applicant.

Is permanent residency an option ? I think we would need more information in order to advise you properly.

Hi,
I will travel to canada on work permit some time soon. My husband has got open work permit and my daughter has got study permit for Canada. We all applied together and got required permits. I will travel alone and my husband and adughter will travel later, may be couple of months later. My question is:
1. Is it possible for them to travel alone with out the primary applicant that is myself. i will reach Canada before them.

2. Is it possible for my husband(having open work permit) to come back to India after dropping my daughter at Canada and then travel after few months again to join us?

Please help me with my queries.
