Yes, you can apply for PR on your own.I’m on a spouse open work permit, I’m currently separated from my spouse, is it possible for me to apply for pr without my spouse as it was through her I got my open work permit? What can I do?

i am have married my husband less than 3 months we never lived together we did it for religious reasons and we were planning to get married next year.
he is currently on a work permit and we applied for sponsorship for him. unfortunately, we are getting a divorce as my family doesn't approve anymore of this marriage. does my divorce will effect his application for future express way or any way to get a PR if we get a divorce and pull the application.
please advise.

He can't stop you from divorcing him. Once you've been separated for a year you have the legal right to file for divorce.yes i am. i am canadian resident
He cannot get PR from you however he can certainly try to qualify on his own. The divorce has no impact on this.

Suggest posting in the International Students section of the forum.I am an international student i worked on uber and fantuan delivery app for 20 hours at same time for two weeks is this counted as 20 hours or 40 hours. Please give some answer.. and also IRCC will count working hour per week pr total number of hour per year.
