Hello, I will go to Canada for September intake, my course starts on September 4. Can my spouse work before this date? I will arrive to Canada in mid-August. Or does he has to wait until September 4 to start working?

Thanks in advance

U got your spouse work permit?

we applied together
If you don't mind, would you give me details? How abt finances, and maybe documents? I have read many cases but they either applied inland or sponsored their spouse later.
In my case, I'm Also considering including my children but it be toughy

Finances we showed 26000 CAD in the statements. Father is my sponsor, we sent letter of sponsorship, bank statements, property documents, letter of acceptance, passport, marriage certificate, letter of work for my spouse that will return to country after studies, transcripts from bachelor degree.

hey can u let me know when did u both applied n when u recieved visa? date? online or offline.... even i applied together with spouse for sep intake... but still waiting response...
I applied online May 14th, received approval 2 weeks later. However expected processing time was 1 week, but it took 2 weeks. It will depend on your country how much it will take and definitely adding spouse OWP delays the process in most cases.
