Spouse immigration Birth Certificate requirement

My husband is applying for my sponsorship in Canada class. There is a requirement for the Birth Certificate fo the principal appliacnt (me) but i dont have it...i do have the National Identity card and other documents that have my date of birth n other details. Is it very necessary to send the birth cert or something else can be given. what are the consequences of not giving it.

pls. help my application needs to be submitted soon!!!

Not 100% sure but may be If you don't have Birth certificate then you can try high school certificate(if Ur date of Birth mention on that) and attest that copy by notary.

im from Pakistan and right now i am in canada living with my husband so what will be equivalent in this case
