Hi friends,

I am applying for Canadian PR under Canadian experience Class and I have a valid offer. My wife also work temporarily , part time spending 10 to 12 hrs per week or only 40 to 45 hours / month. Will this considered as an experience ?

She would need the equivalent of 1 year of full-time experience for her experience to "count," as previously stated, that is 1560 hours. If she is working only 10 hours per week, that would take 3 years to aquire.

Since you have a "valid job offer" (LMIA + written offer of permanent employment contingent upon obtaining PR status), trying to count your wife's experience is more work than it is worth. You don't need it to qualify.

If you don't have LMIA you need yours wife work experience to get some points.

In that case it's work experience under EE rules, no CEC rules because she isn't the principal applicant.

So, I guess your wife's experience can be accepted for partner work experience in the EE Profile, but you'll get not too many points.

And your wife's job has to be NOC 0,A or B.
