My Husband hasn't physically met my family because of several factors. I'm from Texas and my spouse is from Toronto.
1. My husband has a fear of flying from a trip he went on a long time ago.
2. Oddly enough, my mom also has a fear of flying and she has a fear of trains. :-[ I'm trying to get my mom on a train when I can.
3. Both my husband and parents would rather drive to Toronto or Texas to see one another but that cost a lot of money. I think the plane is faster and more comfortable. :-\
4. My parents are both from the USA but they have never been out of the country and have not gotten there passports yet.
5. Both my parents have disabilities, my mom from a car accident and my father from a medical condition. It's not good for them to be soo long in a car.
But overall my parents and my husband txt each other frequently. They talk for long hours on the phone. And even though my parents haven't met him in person, they love him.
They talk a lot on Facebook. Our plan is to save and visit them once the sponsorship process is over. Or hopefully my dad's health will improve or my mom will get over her fear and they can visit Toronto. But we think the best option for now is for us to visit them when we are settled.
Do you think this will hurt our application? Should I describe it in more detail on the forum? Any advice?
