Hi guys , how are you? I am new to this forum. I have a question, but before my question here is some insight on my situation. I am a July 2018 outside comman law sponsorship applicant .My application has bin processed and forwarded to the Trinidad port of Spain Visa Office. I have done my medical s and biometric and also they have requested a copy of my passport.
I have an exclusion order and would like to know, when I can apply for the ARC?

Are you still under exclusion? Having a removal order slows down the process considerably. Mine took about 18 months and I had a 1 year exclusion order that was already expired for a year when they finally sent me COPR.

I did not quit understand the certificate of departure . As I continue to pay attention to the form, I realized is a departure order that turned in to a deportation order. The deportation order was issued after a failed refugee claim in 2007. However I eventually leave Canada. And as I mentioned before I have an outside common law sponsorship in progress. The sponsorship is at the stage where I already submitted my biometric and my medical has bin approve and I receive a pre- arrival letter and they requested a copy of my passport. What I don't know is if they are going to request an ARC and when.

The deportation order was issued after a failed refugee claim in 2007. However I eventually leave Canada. And as I mentioned before I have an outside common law sponsorship in progress. Ok, so in this case they will definitely request an ARC at some point because without it they would never allow you back into Canada again. A deportation order is the most severe removal order they have. Still, you should not have a probleem getting approved for an ARC since your process is moving along fine up until now. i can't tell you when they will request the ARC, just that they will, so all you can do it wait until you hear from them or maybe shoot them an email to ask them but you have no guarantee that they will answer that. I would request notes in your case though, it may give you an idea of what is going on.

I just found this info. Hope it can help you to understand what applies to you. But maybe if you could share more about your history here, someone would be able to give you a good advice.

What do you mean by requesting notes? Do you mean I should inquiry about my file?

GCMS notes, these hold all the information IRCC has on you including the progress of your application. Requesting them sometimes triggers IRCC to start working on your file again or send you updates through your online Gckey account.

Hi John, how are you? My representative did send them an email, and we got a response. They said my file is in queue for an interview at the visa office and that the interview has not yet been arranged. Also once the interview is scheduled I will be advised of the details via email. They didn't mentioned anything about the ARC. Are they going to ask for the ARC before the interview?

Hi, i'm good! Good to hear you got some news. They will probably request the ARC after the interview, but I suppose you could ask them directly during the interview. Let us know how it goes and we will always try to help you if we can.
