I had a correspondence from ircc to pay for the right of permanent residence fee, passport for me n my daughter, birth certificate for my daughter. Complete n new Imm0008, n other forms. N daughters declaration from her mother.
I did all of that recently.
What is next thing? Is it gonna be approval? And why did they ask for those forms again after eligibility pass ..

No I didn’t apply for work permit. And yes am self employed. And we both completed our medicals. My daughter just did another one 2 months ago. And I have registered for gst yes

So you have been working under the table for yourself. You need WP even if you are self employed.

You don’t seem to understand that you can’t work illegally and it is actually quite a big deal. Any form of work while in Canada applying for asylum or after you have been approved as a protected person requires an WP. There are also special requirements if you are self-employed that you need to research. Assume you haven’t been filing your taxes either. Have you been treating your self-employed income like cash income? Hopefully you haven’t been receiving welfare as well from the provinces in addition to working illegally. You really need to sort this out asap. You will be asked for things like banking and tax records at a certain point as well as having to declare your work history and so it is important that you do things legally Did you not apply for a WP when you applied for asylum? Most apply for both.

I had a work permit before I applied. It expired at a point during corona n couldn’t apply for another one. About taxes yes filing and paying my taxes every year for myself and the business as well. Everything is done right. I just don’t have working permit. But am gonna get on it.
