Spouse dependent visa

Hi All,
I recently applied for visitor visa to my spouse(before marriage) and I am also included as a friend/sponsor. She is not employed so we attached her fathers properties and bank statements of around 8000$ and my statements around 4K.

we got rejection because of the following reasons:
1) Purpose of your visit
2) Personal assets and financial status.

We are getting married in the next month and we are worried that will there be any problem if we apply for dependent visa with marriage certificate? Is there anything that we can do before applying, please suggest.

If she is not employed and has no assets it will be very difficult to prove intent to return to home country and proof of funds.

There is no dependent visa. Depending on your status in Canada you might be able to sponsor the spouse (if you are a PR or citizen) or they can apply for an open work permit (if you are a student or worker)

Thanks Eveslm, is that okay if her father adds some properties like agricultural land on her name and then showing some amount from her bank account?

I am on my work permit, and she is eligible for SOWP right?
