Spouse dependent open work permitt from India

i have applied for owp from india via vfs bangalore on 2nd june 2014. we got rejected for two times which were online applications.
for this time we included almost all the docs..but many told like paper applications will take long time to process.....very much tensed....hoping for ur reply..

I too applied from the same place on May 1st..it was paper based..it didnt take long for us to get the visa, by May 26th we got our PP stamped. So its not true that paper applications will take wrong, if all documents are in order, it will be processed in due time.
Dont worry, you will get it soon.

Proof of Payment
Applicant's Passport pictures
IMM 5476 - Use of Representative
IMM 1295 - Main Application
IMM 5645 - Family Information
IMM 1257 - Schedule 1
Copy of Marriage certificate
Both husband-wife's Passport pages copies and original passport of OWP applicant
Spouse's Work permit or any other relevant immigration document to prove his/her status in Canada
Spouse's payslips of atleast last 2 months
Spouse's LMO copy if he/she is working in Canada based on LMO

yes, this is VFS procedure.
As you are applying together from India, you can submit both original passports. and instead of payslips, you may have to show bank statements / tax returns for the past 1-2 years that will prove your ties to India. However you can visit your nearest VFS and ask them more details of documents checklist.

Could you please let me know which form / medical exam I should submit for spousal work permit application? I didn't get enough info regarding this on CIC website.

also what should we do in such situation? We emailed to cic and no response. and also they never pick up calls.

Hi... I m from India...My husband is on work permit in Canada valid till November 2015. I have applied to Delhi CIC office for OPW on 10th July 2014 via VFS office (paper base application), my medical updated after 21st July 2014. I am fall in healthcare profession. Generally OPW takes 25 days to 1 month .but its 16th Aug, no reply .really worried
Please suggest me something?

Hi Viky,

I have applied my owp almost on same day as yours. I also did paper OWP application through VFS. I got medical request on 22 May and underwent it on 23rd and submitted eMedical info sheet on 26th while actual reports will be sent online by Apollo hospitals within max 1 week time. Now waiting for visa as passport is already with them.

I guess - The reason CHC asking you to go again for medical because they consider pre medicals valid only for 60 days so if your application was approved in this period then chc would not have asked to go again for medicals. I have heard many applicants who did Pre medical got such medical requests again. I suggest you to do medicals again rather than wasting time in showing them older medical proofs etc. Otherwise it may cause further delays. Anyways...hope for the best. Good luck and keep posted your updates.
