While filling PR application form after ITA, I had mentioned "NO" in work history for Spouse since it is not Canadian experience and we have not claimed any points. All work experience was entered in Personal History. Similarly, we did not do any ECA for Spouse Degree and did not claim any points for the same. However, I filled the Study section for Spouse with Degree details. During application submission, Spouse Degree documents are being requested. Can I go ahead and upload the documents though no ECA was done for the same? Should the Spouse Degree details not be entered in the application if there is no points claimed for it? I don't want to mention "NO" under studies section since it would be misrepresentation. Please advise

This wouldn't be misrepresentation.

If you upload the degree in that placeholder, the officer will summarily reject it in the absence of an ECA and not award you any points for that section. If you do not mention their education, you wouldn't be awarded any points for that section. In the absence of an ECA, the result remains the same whether you include their education in your application or not.

Thanks Asivad for the clarification. I will remove the details from study section. We claimed points only for Spouse IELTS and have updated TRF details for the same. Under uploads section, I don't see specific requirement to upload TRF Copy. Is mentioning TRF Number and Scores sufficient? Can you also please clarify on the landing process. Assuming PPR is approved, do we need to land in Canada and wait for few months to receive the PR card? Is it possible to do this process from offshore?

TRF upload isn't required, CIC can check that online using the reference number.

You will have to land in Canada and spend a few weeks/months to receive your PR card, this cannot be done from offshore. You'll have to land before your medicals expire failing which you'll have to make an exception request to CIC along with a sufficiently valid reason for not being able to land within the allotted time. CIC will action on that request at their discretion.

Ok, is the medicals valid for 6 months or 12 months? I did my medicals on July 31, 2015 after receiving ITA but was unable to submit application within 60 days due to travel issues. I declined ITA and entered pool again to receive 2nd ITA last month. In this case, 6 month validity of medicals will most certainly expire by the time application is processed. I did medicals through hospital that has electronic upload facility. Is it sufficient to upload the Information Sheet handed over? It has UMI number and mentions Family-EDE as Upfront medical type. Also my Spouse passport is expiring in 5 months. We will be doing a renewal. Can I mail CIC later the new passport number after renewal? The current submission will have expiring passport details and PCC issued for the same. Is this okay?

Medicals is valid for 12 months. That information sheet is sufficient. Recommend that you renew their passport and update CIC about the same before you get PPR. As the current passport is valid, those documents are valid for submissions now.
