hi guys,

my husband application sent to missisuga 5 oct 2011.
application approved 22 dec 2011.

after that no approval letter from cic last 2 month waiting and waiting.
does anyone have same situation please keep talk to me.
this letter is very urgent becouse of csq application.

Hi,

I suggest to call CIC office and see why you didn't get this letter, you need the approval letter to file further your application to get CSQ, as you already know.

Hello again,

It's not normal to wait for so long, CIC always says you have to wait, well I guess it's nothing else to do, for us was exactlly opposite, my husbund got the approval letter but e-cas it was updated after more than a month with the decision made on our file.

If you don't have news in a week you call again CIC.

Keep yourself positive and fill you up with tones of patience... .

I was in the same situation. Got approved from CPC-M but never got a letter, my file was transferred to the VO and they immediately asked for the CSQ.

It took CPC-M 2 months to re-send a new letter to me, I had to get my MP involved on it and I kept calling every single week. I advise you do the same since you need that letter to apply for CSQ. I honestly don't know what's going on with CPC-M, I have read many posts on this forum lately about the same situation.

So we sent our app on August 2011 to CPC-M, (applying through Quebec), we were approved on October 2011, file was transferred to VO and by the end of November 2011 my VO requested my CSQ, but as you know already, we need the letter(which we ddnt get) from CPC-M to apply for CSQ, which we ddnt have..

So we called many times the call center requesting a second one, since the first got lost somewhere.. We got our MP involved also so speed things.. And we only got our letter from CPC-M by the end of December, 2 months later since we got approved.. Well then we applied for CSQ, and 3 weeks later we got the CSQ. Sent to my VO. They now requested my passport to issue the visa..

Well it's almost a month since the second one was sent to you, and you still haven't got it. You can contact your MP, it doesn't hurt.
In my case, our MP contacted someone in CPC-M to see what was going on, and I can say in our case, our MP was very helpful.
I think you should have gotten the second one already, doesn't take that long to reach you. Where are you located in Quebec?

Well the first letter from CPC-M got lost, and we called many times for weeks non stop to the call center and they would only tell us to wait. We got our MP involved and 3 weeks later we had our second letter in hand. So yes in my case he was helpful.
My wife lives in Montreal also, and it took 3 days for the letter to get to her.
