Spouse and new born baby sponsorship

I am working in Canada and have submitted spouse sponsorship application in July 2012. My wife is pregnant and is in India.
Expected date around 31st Jan 2012. She did all the medicals except X-ray. So, I want to know the exact process what may happen to our case. In case, I get an sponsorship approval in October, hows my wife's PR and baby's PR will proceed from there. What all dependant forms and documents I need to fill/send for sponsoring my baby.

Kindly suggest if you know the process and the timeline it may take after baby's born.

Timelines are always difficult to predict.

Until they have your wife's medical, they won't be able to finalize the application. Certainly the EASIEST thing would be for you to have her come to Canada to give birth, in which case your child would be a Canadian citizen at birth and thus have minimal impact on the application. Even so, a newborn child does not create much additional burden - just another physical exam, a bit more paperwork, and THEN they will review your file.

In order to give baby birth in Canada, my wife has to go through X-rays first , which is not recommended by doctors. So, coming here and delivering here might not be an option. If you know any of the
way through which she can come inside Canada, let me know. The other option left is , she have to go give birth in back home country.
But my question is which forms or paper documentation required for my baby's sponsorship.
