so, I've read suggestions that leaving spouse and child could be one example of home ties, although not necessarily increase one's chance of getting SP.
questions:
1. if after 1 semester of studying in Canada, I want my spouse and child to follow, can I apply for them as my dependents?
2. or does application for dependents strictly done at the same time I make my SP application?
3. if answer to question # 1 is Yes, then do I make the application in Canada myself? or does the application have to be done by my spouse in homecountry/Philippines?
4. if application is to be done by spouse in homecountry, will the spouse undergo interview at the embassy?
5. if I can indeed apply for my spouse and child as Student dependents, will I have to have work while studying in Canada? or is financial support documents from other family members acceptable?
6. Is it true that spouse can only be granted open work permit if his skill/occupation is in NOC O, A, B.? so if his occupation is not on the list, he cannot be granted an open work permit?
7. is it generally easier to apply for dependents along with SP application rather than the separate application later on?
or has anyone successfully been approved of SP with dependents? pls share your experience...
or successfully been approved of dependents applications while already studying in Canada?
